We have added some more beating hearts to the farm . . . BEES! Our son Zack has added two bee hives which is a perfect fit since bees play a such a big role in agriculture.

Most everyone knows they pollinate crops, but having bees on our farm will do so much more. They increase pollinator diversity since native bees and domesticated honeybees pollinate different kinds of plants. And the raw honey produced will help us (especially Alan) combat allergies.
